Halloween at the Zoo and Huber's Farm

We had a couple exciting days this past week. On Thursday evening we went to the Louisville Zoo for some trick-or-treating and family/friend fun! Along with us was a couple of our good friends, Carrie and Kate, and their kiddos. Carrie brought along her 3 boys ALL BY HERSELF! BRAVE Woman! Sadly, her husband David couldn't make it because he wasn't going to get off of work in time. That didn't stop Carrie from bringing her three boys, Aidan, Camden, and her newest addition Grayson, and allowing them to have a great time! Great Mommy! Kate brought little Mr. Luke along but her husband was also working. My little Miss Ava, Grayson, and Luke are all very close in age and it was their first "Halloween at the Zoo" trip! Very exciting! We all had a great time watching the kids trick-or-treat in their little costumes! Liam was a dinosaur, of course, and Ava was a bumblebee! Aidan was iron man, Camden was a spider, and Grayson was Santa Claus. Mr. Luke was a firefighter! We really enjoyed the evening and the weather was perfect!

 

 

On Friday, we headed out to Huber's Farm with my Kayla, Justin, Alex, Kira, Cali, and Devin. It was one again another great day! We decided to ride the tractor out to the pumpkin patch and pick the kiddos their pumpkins first and everyone had a blast. Liam helped pick out his and Ava's pumpkins, that is once he got done trying to kick them around like they were balls! Silly boy! After picking pumpkins we walked around and enjoyed the scenery and let the kids run around and play. Last we went into the store and bought some yummy apple cider, peanut butter fudge, and pumpkin pie...Umm Umm Good! We wanted to take the kids to the petting zoo and little play area but unfortnately they had already closed. Athough we didn't get to do all we wanted to there it was a perfect day!
