Watch Ava Grow: 4 Months!

My little Miss A is growing so fast! On October 13th she turned 4 Months Old! I can't believe how fast these past 4 months have gone! Here are her stats:

• Ava is now a big 13 lbs. and 11 oz. (50%) and 24 inches long (40%)
• She wears 3-6 month clothing
• Size 1 shoe
• Size 2 diapers in disposables or second snap on cloth

Feeding: Ava nurses every 3-4 hours and/or consumes around 4-4.5 oz. of Mommy's milk in a bottle when I am working. The Pediatrician recommended starting solids so we are starting to work on that now, closer to 5 months old.

Sleep: Ava still enjoys her naps but is up much more during the day for play time. She goes to bed at night around 8:30 and usually wakes up between 1-3 AM to nurse and then every 3-4 hours following. Ava sleeps in her own bed, unlike her big brother, and she always will...Mommy/Daddy rule! LOL.

Development: Ava coos, giggles aloud, and loves to interact. She can completely roll over, locates sound, holds her head up GREAT, is already trying to sit up (she pulls hersef up to a sitting position in her bouncy seat), and bears weight on her legs.

Play: Ava now LOVES her toys from rattles, play gym toys, squeeze toys, and textured toys...She loves them all! She enjoys her swing and bouncy seat when she is tired and now enjoys her bumbo seat so she can sit up and look around at everything going on around her. She LOVES, LOVES when people talk and sing to her! She enjoys music and really gets her feet kicking around when she hears it. She is in love with her big brother and really enjoys when he plays with her!
